Welcome!

What is a Panzarotti®? The Panzarotti is a pocket of dough with mozzarella cheese and our tomato sauce recipe which are enclosed inside the pocket. The Panzarotti is fried to a golden brown rather than baked. The wonder of the Panzarotti is it can be opened to add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, veggies or whatever you’re craving for.

The Panzarotti comes in three different sizes. The original Large Panzarotti, The Junior Panzarotti and the Panzarottini. Both the large and the junior can be opened to add toppings. You can find even more information about Tarantini Panzarotti on the YouTube search or finding us on Facebook.

Pauline Tarantini’s sons Vincent and Franco Tarantini are pictured above as they sell Panzarotti at schools and other locations at lunchtime. The Panzarotti Bus, as it was called, would have a new driver named Leo who started as soon as he got his drivers license. This Pic taken around 1965. To this day customers keep reminding us when they used to get Panzarotti from the bus. Vincent’s son Paul and Franco’s son Leo started making Panzarotti before they could walk. This website designer starting eating Panzarotti in 1966 at a family owned store in Oaklyn, New Jersey. February 27, 2024: Tarantini Panzarotti is sad to announce the passing of Franco Tarantini at the age of 81. A beloved Icon to his family and many customers and friends, he will be sorely missed. Franco was the inventor of the Panzarottini and with the help of Vincent, brought this new product to the marketplace. When Leo and Paul took over from their parents, Franco was an invaluable asset to our company with his knowledge and wisdom and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
