Welcome!

What is a Panzarotti®? The Panzarotti is a pocket of dough with mozzarella cheese and our tomato sauce recipe which are enclosed inside the pocket. The Panzarotti is fried to a golden brown rather than baked. The wonder of the Panzarotti is it can be opened to add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, veggies or whatever you’re craving for.

The Panzarotti comes in two different sizes. The original Large Panzarotti and the Panzarottini.  The large Panzarotti can be opened to add toppings. You can find even more information about Tarantini Panzarotti on the YouTube search or finding us on Facebook.

Pauline Tarantini’s sons Vincent and Franco Tarantini are pictured above as they sell Panzarotti at schools and other locations at lunchtime. The Panzarotti Bus, as it was called, would have a new driver named Leo who started as soon as he got his drivers license. This Pic taken around 1965. To this day customers keep reminding us when they used to get Panzarotti from the bus. Vincent’s son Paul and Franco’s son Leo started making Panzarotti before they could walk. This website designer starting eating Panzarotti in 1966 at a family owned store in Oaklyn, New Jersey. Sadly, both Vincent and Franco are gone now but their son’s continue the tradition that began 75 years ago.
